The Society of Graduate Students in Music at Western University is pleased to announce its 23rd annual Graduate Symposium on Music (WUGSOM), August 26th – 27th, 2022. This year Dr. Maisie Sum (Conrad Grebel University College - Waterloo University) will deliver the keynote address, tentatively titled, "Rules, Rites, and Respect: Performing Black Moroccan Music and Culture."

This year the keynote speaker will be Dr. Philip Ewell (Hunter College of the City University of New York). His talk is titled “Confronting Antisemitism in American Music Studies.”
